only one more day of VBS left. i'll miss the kids, i had a good group. but im ready for it to be over. i dont have a lot of time at home this summer, and its slipping away from me. if i manage to get in touch with everyone i need to, i dont have a free weekend left. days are still pretty empty, but i think i'll manage to fill them by printing off pics and making my scrapbooks (for those of you who dont know, after every big trip i put save EVERYTHING and put together giant scrapbooks. ive got like 3 shelves of them. hehe. i can only imagine how many binders it will take to cover this past semester.) and trying to sell off some stuff and making (read: knitting, and in one instance pretending to quilt as well) the presents i owe some people and so forth. i havent even managed to call any of the friends i am supposed to call yet...

found several CDs i had forgotten i had burned. listened to bush all the way home from vbs today. made me think about bearded andy and freshman year BSU family group and made me laugh. I'm out of control - I'm in a hurricane - Head and heart have broken down. (that was actually quite fitting for a couple of nights this week. cindy gave us a good bit of rain and enough wind and thunder and lightening and unfun things that the power went out for several hours. dennis (?) didnt come this way though. next up's emily, i think...)

i have an amazon gc im trying to use. why is this hard? i could buy all of keen eddie, but it would still cost like $25 and its not worth it (note: that's with free shipping and $15 off!!) i could preorder HP6, but i need something to go with it to get my discount. *sigh*

moving on... wait. there's nothing to move on to! i baked bread today. it smells yummy. i also boiled chicken, which means i have to go make chicken salad. which is yummy.

also, today i bought yarn. in fact, in the past 4 days ive bought maybe 75 things of yarn!!!!! somebody stop me! this is like 20 scarves. so, if anyone wants a rebecca-knitted scarf, nows a good time to put in your requests... ive got about 4 specific ones i have to work on, and everything else is up for grabs. which reminds me that i have some stuff to finish and mail before it becomes much too belated. *wonders where she put that package*

i think im going insane. i need to go make chicken salad. then i need to get everything ready for dinner. then i need to take lots of photos of things to sell, for all the people who requested them so long ago. then i need to watch some tv (anyone ever heard of piglet??) and then i need to do some knitting and then i need to read some richmond murder mystery novel (perfect thing to do before bed!) and then i need to go to bed and then i need to get up at 7:30. yes, i will indeed be glad when VBS is over.
