Here's my reaction post for Doctor Who 4-12: ( (it's pretty short & spoiler free) )

I just finished catching up on Doctor Who - Midnight and Turn Left.

First, I HAVE NOT WATCHED THE WHO PREMIERE YET!! So don't go ruining it for me! (Not that you could do much of anything that would completely ruin it, whatever I hear beforehand!) I'm going to be brave (or stupid) and try to wait until the new series begins airing on SciFi. I think we'll be about 2 weeks behind the UK...

I did, however, have some Tennant time this afternoon when I finally watched Learners - very cute! Chris was so adorkable. And unexpected Chav Pete Tyler was... well, was Pete Tyler only married to a different blonde overexcitable chav. And minus Rose, of course.

I also had some Torchwood catch-up time - watched episodes 9, 10, and 11, so I'm caught up with the BBC America schedule now. TW's starting to lose my attention, although episode 11 was probably the most interesting. And, uhm, slightly surprising? But maybe it's cuz I'm not European enough ;) (mmmmm and meanwhile BBCA has been showing constant promos for RH, TW, and Who, which actually does make me feel like I'm back in England! The RH one is really quite good!)

Uhm, what else? Oh yeah, you know how I said I wasn't going to change anything more than the banner on the site? I lied. Or proved myself wrong. I spent hours fiddling with stuff the past two days. Doesn't look so hot yet, but I'm working on it :D And my partner in crime says she approves, although she also says it wasn't as awkward to navigate before as I thought it was. But anyways, can't let those hours of fiddling go to waste, now can we? Besides, I can count it as CSS/website design training, and that may prove far more useful in life than medieval English literature ;)

By the way, if you or anyone you know is looking for some webspace, lemme know! If I'm gonna start seriously paying for it, I might as well put more of it to good use!!

I should have been, I dunno, doing something productive. If not working, then, catching up on owed blogs or emails or site updates or what have you. But no, instead I spent the afternoon raiding the Five photo gallery at the Doctor Who Tragical Mystery Tour site. And then iconing the spoils. I made boatloads, and have plenty more planned, but for now I give you the first set. Surprisingly for me, they're all black and white and colorless. I'm still using Paint, so really all I did today was cropping. But he's just so darn cute, how could I resist?

hours and hours later... i have a custom joe a mood theme!

right now, it's just links put in individually in my own info. i don't yet know how to make it into a sharable mood theme but it doesn't look that complicated so i may be able to figure it out. also, some of the moods are a big stretch and several of the images repeat (and sadly they are less pretty ones!) so i want to expand it at some point but right now i reeeeally need to pack and such since my train leaves at 8:30. but i just needed to squee over my mood theme a bit. hehe. when i get back, i can at least update a zip file of all the pics i used, if anyone wants them.

Right, or, in normal speak... The flatmate and I have been watching some Fifth Doctor, and we luffs him! He is very cute and cuddly and needy. ok, i promise i'll get to my travel review, and also a book review, soon enough, but now i really out to get dressed and go get some groceries, since i've eaten granola bars for the past 3 meals.

Edit: I can't look at those icons without saying 'awwwwww!' Anyways, Cafepress status report: apparently I can order up to 5 items for the same shipping fee, so I've designed my t-shirt and 4 badges. I realized though that I only got permission for the image I used on the shirt, so I've contacted the other 4 relevant parties for permission (if anyone says no, I'm going to cry and glare at them. Glare a Mr. Flibble glare!)
